If you like the output of The XX, then 'Faces' is a track for you. As someone who trifles through heaps of promos, most of them a little bit pants, it's a relief to come across something new worth listening to. This applies to Maths Time Joy, a new UK based producer whose debut release purveys a mellow, wonky dubbed out effect. The 22 year old London producer, real name Tim Worthington, adds his melancholic, gravely vocals over a crowded expanse of industrial knocks and clicks. 'Faces' is taken from a forthcoming summer EP and is up for free and limited download, so cop it quick below.
