Exclusive Download: Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up (Blacksmif Dont Panic Mix)

I first came across Blacksmif's music back in November 2011 where his track 'Time Spent Without Words', which is no longer available, left me bewildered by the diverse scope in production. It felt like journeying through an unknown ethereal land. I was amazed at how little his music had been given the recognition it deserved, though much like any art form with a strange quality that screams uniqueness, it was bound to hit the spotlight. Since then he's featured on Mary Anne Hobbs' XFM show via a mix, who herself described his music as "..incredibly strange and wonderful... absolutely phenomenal." 

Now, newsicmoos is rather quite proud to host an exclusive download of Yemi Olagbaiye; a remix of Black Eyed Peas' commercially massive track 'Shut Up'. Much like the north London producer's other tracks, he cools up the Black Eyed Peas original and infuses with jazz-like instrumentation, cymbal crashes and hovering chords.This remix precedes his forthcoming release on BlahBlahBlah Records, due to land on May 21st 2012. Still largely unknown, it's probably about time you took notice and give thanks to Blacksmif.
