Single: dBridge presents Velvit - Passing Encounter // Convex Industries

This dropped in the newsicmoos email box this morning and it's unusual for us to share a track instantly, but there's something rather stirring about this release from dBridge.

He steps up under new alias Velvit on this release, which is out now exclusively via Surus. He deters from the anchored drum and bass nature of production of which he has become notorious for and offers an intelligent take on grimy, underground electronic music. 

Though the release is double A-side, it's the track 'Passing Encounter' that touches the soul through oscillation of humming chords and an ethereal vocal. The tribal bass and beat is rhythmic enough for this to be played out and is what captures the essence of this new direction for dBridge. 

This will get a full release on 14th May 2012, so keep a look out in the usual stores.
